Beginners - Just learning or wanting to learn how to play. Join us for the basics.
Just made the SCHOOL Team - Now that cuts have been made, the real competition begins. You MUST now compete for your position and time on the court. Many players assume that once try-outs are done, that they can relax because they made the CUT, now that all of the players that did not make the cut are gone, you are competing against a higher level of players all competing for the same thing PLAYING TIME. If you think try-outs were challenging, get ready. You worked really hard to earn that spot on the team, NOW you must work even harder to earn that time on the court. Touch the ball whenever possible, brush up on your weaker skills, work intensely on your better skills, those that got you on the team, attend camps & clinics whenever possible. When given time to hit the ball, don't just go through the motion, CRUSH that ball. That's the time to intensify your power, so when you are on the court, it shows. Don't stand back and watch everyone pass you by, STAND OUT, get noticed. Coaches are watching even when you think they aren't. How you play this season will help determine if you make the cut NEXT season and every year the cuts get harder.
ALL MEMBERS and non members are encouraged to attend CLINICS whenever possible.
We will have SUNDAY clinics throughout August & September. We will be offering specialized clinics for specific positions and skills as well.
IF you are not and SA ELITE member, you can still register on our website as a site (limited) member and we'll keep you posted on all upcoming clinics.

Photographer - Takes pictures to post on team web site of players, games, action and candid shots. All parents are asked to regularly submit photos for team website.
Team webster - Updates team website, with upcoming events, schedule, pictures, etc.
**Scorekeeper coordinator - some coaches will ask for someone to schedule the players to keep score at tournaments and to make sure that score sheets are turned in properly. This parent will assist younger players when in training or necessary at the score table. It is helpful if this parent attends the scorekeeper training session with the players.
The more parents that are involved, with each team the better. It divides the responsibilities and creates a sense of family.
